- Students must complete 1 semester of American Government and take related assessments (Government EOC and Constitution tests).
- Requirement met by taking AP Government at Wright City High School OR taking “College American Government” and “U.S. History from 1877 to Present”
Where Could This Get Me?
With a blended Dual Enrollment schedule, you have control to take a class or two, or as many as 3 a semester.
- A junior taking 3 college classes per semester would earn 18 college credit hours each year of High School. They would start college with 36 hours (college level sophomore). However, we prefer one class the first semester of classes.
With Early College Academy you must successfully complete 12-18 hours a semester.
- A junior starting this program could earn up to 60 hours of credit while in High School and graduate with a High School Diploma and possibly an Associates degree at the same time.
Please see your school counselor for further information on dual credit opportunities.
